Chicago native, Chef Lovely earned three degrees in culinary arts from the Illinois Institute of Art. She held the title of Executive Chef at the age of twenty two. She has partnered with numerous companies including Disney, Ford, Roc Nation, Le Creuset, United Health Care, Jenn-Air, Clear Channel, Kenmore, Meyer, Michael Kors, CBS, and many more. Chef held the position of Culinary Specialist at Bloomingdale's for five years creating & executing live cooking demonstrations with all departments and their in house restaurant, 59th & Lex. For the past six and a half years, Lovely has served as Lead Chef Instructor, Associate Board Member, & Ambassador for the non profit organization, Common Threads in the Chicago and LA markets. Adding to her work with children and the message of health and nutrition, Lovely served as a Chef Ambassador for First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move initiative. Lovely held principal roles on Food Network, FOX, NBC, and Logo TV. As owner and Executive Chef of Lovely Eats, Chef Lovely offers catering, culinary instruction, event planning, and private chefs. Along with her pop up restaurant series in downtown LA, Chef Lovely has a celebrity clientele with future TV programming in the works.
Chef Lovely's cuisine is heavily inspired by her families southern roots and her travels. Each plate is flavorful, bold, and satisfying.
